Flashlube DOT3 Brake Fluid is developed using poly-glycol fluids, which deliver the correct braking requirements in specified applications. It is commonly used in standard vehicles manufactured up to the mid-1990s, and it is suitable for all standard driving conditions.
DOT3 Brake Fluid has a dry boiling point of 254 °C (489 °F) and a wet boiling point of 155 °C (311 °F). The fluid’s boiling point indicates the temperature at which the brake fluid vaporizes. The higher the DOT classification, the higher the boiling point, thus the better the fluid is at resisting heat.
Flashlube Brake Fluid has a hygroscopic nature, meaning it absorbs moisture. Due to the high boiling points, the DOT3 Brake Fluid does not absorb too much moisture, allowing for the vehicles brakes to work effectively.
